Desktop Support Engineer Duration: 10/19/2026 - 04/18/2027 Location: 110 Merritt Boulevard, Fishkill, NY 12524 (100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week) Pay Rate: $30 to $32/hr on W2 Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Virtual + Onsite) Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide exceptional end-user technology support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application-related issues while delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users. Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system and Microsoft application problems. Support Office 365 and enterprise productivity tools. Research, troubleshoot, resolve, or escalation incidents through established support processes. Track and manage incidents using a ticketing system. Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders throughout the support lifecycle. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution. Support device deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives. Required Qualifications Experience in Desktop Support, Technical Support, IT Support, or End User Support. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications. Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with Active Directory user administration. Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Enterprise-level desktop support experience. Understanding of networking fundamentals. Experience supporting both onsite and remote users. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
