Program Management Support SpecialistLOCATION: Lackland AFB, TXJOB STATUS: Full-time; salariedCLEARANCE: MUST have an active Secret clearanceAstrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Management Support Specialist providing support which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Lackland AFB, TX.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Level ClearancePREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:Clearance: SecretEducation: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related fieldYears of experience: 3+ years of related experience with at least 3 years in the DoDRESPONSIBILITIES:Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program eventsDrafts documents for the approval and signature of leadershipDisseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organizationCoordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings and in support office staff and external participantsPrepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policyDocumentation may include but is not limited to attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officersMaintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution, which may include but is not limited to the maintenance logs on the equipment, the corresponding instructions on equipment set up, and meeting executionPrepare correspondence, reports, papers and briefings IAW applicable policies and templatesMaintain appointment calendars and conference room schedulesAssist with coordination, consolidation, analysis, distribution and monitoring of action items, suspense's and responsesProvide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and proceduresAssist with preparation of and updates to program office file management documentsPrepare agendas, reports and briefings for staff meetingsAssist Government with management of organization's workflowAssist with travel planning, travel arrangements and execution IAW with the Defense Travel Administrator's Manual utilizing the Defense Travel SystemSupport cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development efforts.Provide program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product TeamLeads by helping guide successful program execution to maintain the acquisition battle rhythm and deliver warfighter capabilityProvide support and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution for the program and analyzes overall program health and advises program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule and performance objectivesSupport and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior managementProvide Program Management inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs) including systems specs, Electronic Warfare Systems (SRDs), Statement of Work (SOWs), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and other RFP productsReview acquisition documents and provides comments with programmatic perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, ADMs, LCSP, Acquisition Strategies, APBs, Risk Management Plans, PMRs and milestone decision briefings
