Interventional Radiology Nurse

This is a travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Pay package is based on 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined for travel positions.

Shift details:

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Required certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS

Required experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

Roles & responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety
• Assist with the setup of imaging equipment such as CT scanners and facilitate sterile technique during invasive procedures
• Administer medications including IV infusions, sedation, or Botulinum toxin treatments following physician orders
• Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse changes
• Support post-procedure recovery by assessing patient status, managing pain, and providing discharge instructions
