Patient Access Supervisor - Emergency Department

Position Summary The Registration Supervisor oversees registration staff and manages daily registration operations at both the Desloge Outpatient Center and the Hospital. The role ensures efficient patient flow, timely processing of registrations, and the maintenance and updating of registration policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, preparing monthly reports, implementing new processes to enhance workflow, collaborating with clinical managers and supervisors, addressing challenges professionally, and ensuring sufficient staffing to support daily registration activities. The supervisor promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent patient services experience required. Experience: Two years of registration experience required. Supervisory experience and knowledge of the Cerner system preferred. Knowledge of St. Luke’s registration processes a plus.
