Endourologist - Assistant Professor of Urology

Overview The Department of Urology at Stanford University is seeking a fellowship‑trained endourologist to join as an Assistant Professor in the University Medical Line. The role requires experience in both surgical and non‑surgical management of kidney stone disease, a record of excellent patient care, and teaching experience. The candidate should also have a background in translational and/or clinical research, with potential to develop an independent research program and secure extramural funding. Qualifications Fellowship‑trained endourologist with experience in surgical and non‑surgical kidney stone management. Board‑certified or board‑eligible with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent). Demonstrated excellence or promise of excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity. Track record of innovative peer‑reviewed publications and extramural career development awards is highly desired. Ability to develop a robust research program with the goal of national recognition and independent extramural funding. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with kidney stone disease, including both surgical and non‑surgical treatments. Teach and serve as an integral member of training programs. Engage in scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine. Develop and sustain an independent research program in endourology. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $372,000 – $399,000. The offer will be determined by experience, qualifications, and market pay. Benefits include housing assistance and other components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program.
