What You’ll Do

As a Polisher at STK Steakhouse, you will play a vital role in delivering a flawless dining experience by ensuring that glassware, silverware, and china are polished to perfection. Your mission is to maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards, ensuring that every guest experiences elegance and excellence from the moment they sit down.

Key Responsibilities

• Polishing & Cleaning: Carefully polish glassware, silverware, and china to ensure a spotless, streak-free, and pristine presentation
• Inspecting for Quality: Check each item for watermarks, fingerprints, chips, or imperfections before placing them for service
• Stocking & Organization: Maintain organized and properly stocked service stations with polished glassware and silverware
• Supporting Service Flow: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and the BOH team to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Maintaining Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain polishing cloths and cleaning supplies to ensure they are fresh and effective
• Safety & Hygiene: Follow health and safety standards, ensure proper handling of fragile items and maintain a clean, sanitary environment
• Assisting the Service Team: Be ready to help set up dining areas, reset tables, and contribute to an efficient front-of-house operation

What We’re Looking For

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for perfection, ensuring every item meets STK’s luxury dining standards
• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and effectively, especially during peak service times
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling delicate glassware and china
• Team Player: Willingness to support FOH staff and ensure smooth operations
• Experience: Previous experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided
