Uses judgment during testing sessions to modify types of measures and administration to assure valid and reliable results.Develops rapport for valid test administration. Explains and assists patients in methods and techniques necessary for completion of tests. Assures patient safety in all aspects of service delivery.Performs computerized and/or manual scoring of all tests given, including use of judgment according to scoring guidelines for qualitative, subjective test responses. Provides detailed description of patient’s behavior during testingCreates files for test data, including data summary sheets and delivers to supervising/ordering neuropsychologist in a timely mannerMaintains inventory of test materials and requests new forms and supplies as needed; assists in anticipating needs according to use for budget planningCompletes time limited projects as requested by neuropsychologists, such as testing research, developing disability accommodations for test equipment, procedures.Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of SRALab.Reporting RelationshipsReports directly to Director of PsychologyKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredMinimum of bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.Minimum of three to six months’ of on the job training and experience to become familiar with tests, equipment and proper methods of administration and scoring. Advanced training and certification or prior relevant work experience desirable.Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with patients, families, psychologists and organizational administrators.Analytic skills to exercise good judgment and problem-solving in delivery of clinical service.Knowledge and application of general professional skills for attention to detail, accountability and follow through, flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements.Working ConditionsNormal patient environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.Exposure to moderately adverse working conditions in performing certain patient care activities.
