Electronics Test Technician

Electronics Test Technician Location: South Ventura County, CA Pay: $25 – $33 per hour | Direct Hire Our client, a leading manufacturer in South Ventura County, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Design Verification Test (DVT) team . Key Responsibilities Set up and prepare electronic assemblies for testing Probe and measure small and large signals Build and crimp cables and harnesses Perform soldering and SMT board rework Troubleshoot and characterize new designs Execute verification procedures for hardware designs Conduct thermocouple placement and thermal profiling Collaborate with engineers to support testing of new designs Required Qualifications ASEE, ASCE, or equivalent degree 2+ years of experience as an Electronics/Electrical Technician Experience as an Electronic technician troubleshooting circuits at the component level Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, hi-pot testers, and temperature scanners Ability to analyze and interpret circuit schematics Preferred Skills Design Verification Testing (DVT) experience Familiarity with communication protocols: RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, EtherCat Data acquisition setup and programming skills Programming knowledge in C#, C++, VBA, or VB.Net Why Join?
