Home Health Coding and OASIS Reviewer

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while maintaining client communication and providing ongoing education. Key responsibilities Review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance Educate clients on coding trends and OASIS guidelines through direct communication and participation in meetings Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS conventions, maintaining required certifications and continuing education Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality Certification in Home Health Coding is required Certification in OASIS is required Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
