Technical Business Development Manager - Mission Critical-Data Centers

Job Description Job Description United Industries Group is expanding aggressively into the hyperscale data center market and building dedicated regional teams focused on mission critical infrastructure growth throughout North America. Through its UIG Tank Systems division, the company designs, manufactures, and installs engineered storage systems supporting fire protection water storage, cooling system makeup water, thermal energy storage, reclaimed water systems, and other critical utility infrastructure for hyperscale data center campuses. We are seeking highly motivated Technical Business Development Managers with strong commercial/industrial construction, engineering, mission critical, or infrastructure backgrounds. This is not a traditional sales role. The ideal candidate is: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment A strong relationship-builder and “people person” who connects well with clients and industry partners Technically savvy and comfortable discussing infrastructure solutions with engineers, contractors, and developers Experienced in mission critical or data center environments (preferred) Candidates should be comfortable engaging directly with: General contractors and EPC firms MEP engineers Mechanical contractors Fire protection engineers Data center developers and owner teams Key responsibilities include: Building strategic industry relationships Supporting specification and basis-of-design efforts Identifying upcoming project opportunities Conducting technical presentations and client meetings Driving long-term regional growth initiatives Ideal backgrounds include: Mission critical construction MEP engineering Mechanical systems Industrial infrastructure Fire protection systems Data center infrastructure EPC/project delivery environments B2B Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation Compensation includes: Competitive base salary Highly performance-driven incentive and commission structure Significant long-term earning potential Vehicle/travel allowance Benefits package This is an opportunity to help build a rapidly expanding national initiative within one of the fastest-growing infrastructure sectors in the country.
