In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient production while meeting our quality, food safety, and production standards.This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality products.Why Join Joseph's?Family-owned company with a collaborative and supportive cultureStable and growing organization with long-term opportunityCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:Health insurance401(k)Paid holidaysVacation timeOpportunity for cross-training and career growth within ProductionKey ResponsibilitiesSet up, calibrate, clean, and prepare production equipment for operationMonitor and adjust machine settings to ensure efficient production and product qualityFeed raw materials and components into semi-automated production equipmentInspect products using measuring tools and visual inspections to identify defects or machine-related issuesPerform routine machine checks to ensure equipment is operating properlyTroubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues that do not require Maintenance or Engineering supportCommunicate with upstream production employees to ensure consistent product flowCollaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Management teams to minimize downtimeMaintain accurate production records, including approved and defective productsParticipate in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge and job skillsMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work areaFollow all company policies and production procedures, including:GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)HACCPFood Safety standardsEmployee Handbook policiesAdditional company procedures as assignedPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not requiredBasic math skills requiredAbility to read, write, and follow basic instructions and production processesMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferredStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentWillingness to cross-train in other production areasReliable attendance and punctuality requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materialsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as neededFrequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movementsAbility to work in varying production temperatures ranging from approximately 43&degree;F to 110&degree;FAdditional InformationThis is a full-time onsite position located in Lawrence, MA.
