Job Description

The Sourcing Manager helps implement and support strategic sourcing and negotiation strategies across technology categories to deliver sustainable results. This role partners with global category teams to document requirements, benchmark against world-class standards, and translate business goals into effective sourcing plans and supplier relationships. The Sourcing Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, supports supplier selection and contract negotiations, and drives multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial terms. This hybrid position is based in Austin, TX, with a blend of in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support sourcing and negotiation strategies across technology categories to deliver sustainable, long-term results.
• Support global category teams by documenting requirements and benchmarking against world-class levels to inform sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and applying milestone checks to track progress.
• Assist in translating business goals into clear sourcing plans and supplier relationship strategies.
• Drive and support cross-functional negotiation teams to secure favorable terms, conditions, and cost savings.
• Participate in coordinating supplier selection processes, including evaluation, recommendation, and final selection of suppliers.
• Support contract negotiations and contract administration to ensure contracts reflect agreed terms and manage risk appropriately.
• Help coordinate alternatives and optimize results to drive completion of multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive management, to understand needs, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on sourcing initiatives.
• Utilize purchasing systems and tools such as Ariba, Coupa, DocuSign, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel to manage sourcing activities, purchase orders, and contract documentation.
• Work effectively within a global, matrixed organization, collaborating across regions and functions to support enterprise-wide sourcing goals.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technology sourcing or a combination of a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technology sourcing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, particularly within technology categories.
• Demonstrated experience in contract management and contract administration.
• Experience with purchasing systems and organizational interfaces, including Ariba, Coupa, DocuSign, and Oracle.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical and problem-solving tools.
• Experience in stakeholder relationship management and effective communication with executive management.
• Experience working in a global and matrix organization.
• Experience in technology sourcing with the ability to support global sourcing initiatives.
• Knowledge of purchase order processes and related financial or procurement workflows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in finance, financial technology (FinTech), banking, or related financial services organizations.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and negotiation best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent sourcing projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
• Comfort working in a large corporate environment with long-term career growth opportunities.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
