Registered Nurse - FT - Days - General Surgery

Overview Registered Nurse needed for the K8 General Surgery Med-Surg Unit at Mission Hospital. The unit cares for pre- and post-surgical patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for patients and families. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching. Implement medically prescribed interventions. Qualifications Education : BSN or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with the intent to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. RNs with 10+ years of experience may be exempt. License : Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply; verify with NCBON. RN license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Certification : BLS Healthcare Provider. Experience : One year of hospital nursing experience.
