If you are a dedicated professional with recent phlebotomy experience and a passion for patient interaction, this role could be an ideal fit for you.ResponsibilitiesDraw blood samples from patients in various settings, including patient service centers and office-based locations.Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in presence of the patient.Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures and safety protocols.Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, explaining procedures and creating a comfortable environment.Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and patient information.Ensure a safe, professional, and confidential environment at all times.Travel between multiple sites as scheduled, demonstrating flexibility and punctuality.Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines related to phlebotomy and patient care.Required SkillsExcellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.Accuracy in specimen labeling and record-keeping.Proficient data entry skills.Additional Skills & RequirementsRecent phlebotomy experience within the past 3-4 months, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required in all states; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and a clean driving record.Willingness to travel between multiple sites and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, delivering quality patient care while working in a flexible, mobile environment.
