Phlebotomist

Overview Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II - Float to support our client’s medical facility in Ocala, FL . This is a 4+ month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Ocala, FL 34481 Pay Rate: $22.79 - 25.34/hr on W2. Duration: 4+ Months Shift: Mon-Fri 8-hour shift between 5 AM - 5 PM, Rotational Saturdays. *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Job Responsibilities Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols. Draw high-quality blood samples, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Verify patient identification, demographics, and signatures after venipuncture. Ensure tubes are labeled in the patient’s presence and properly documented. Perform daily tasks accurately and in a timely manner under supervisor direction. Maintain required records, logs, and documentation. Uphold a clean, safe, and professional workspace. Process specimens as needed (experience in processing required). Job Requirements Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. 1-3 years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Travel between multiple sites with reliable personal transportation and maintain on-time attendance at all assigned locations. Must have a clean driving record; mileage is reimbursed between sites only , not from home.
