Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a retail establishment in Boston MA. Wednesday, Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM AND Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour / paid orientation / paid training.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and dining location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, dining spaces, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly guest experience by providing directions, supporting crowd management during busy periods, and documenting daily activities and incidents accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
