You'll work directly with providers, assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for visits, exams, and proceduresObtain vital signs, medical histories, and document medications/allergiesPerform in-office procedures: EKG, spirometry, peak flow, bone density, nebulizer treatmentsRelay lab results and follow-up instructions to patientsAssist providers with exams and in-office proceduresAdminister immunizations and injections and monitor patients afterwardHandle incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, and other medical officesCommunicate test results and next steps clearly and accuratelyProcess medication refill requests following provider protocolsClean and sanitize exam rooms; sterilize instrumentsSupport clinic operations and collaborate with all departmentsRequired Qualifications1 year of back-office Medical Assistant experience (required)High school diploma or equivalentDependable, polite, and patient-focusedStrong multitasking and prioritization skillsAble to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a busy clinicTeam-oriented and committed to delivering excellent careAthena EMR experience is a plusBenefits401(k) + employer matchingMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePTOPaid holidaysEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Medical Assistant certification (preferred)1 year MA experience (required)Athena EMR experience (preferred)Compensation Range:$20.00 to $30.00The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
