Growing together.** Under general supervision, the **Phlebotomist** will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory duties, including specimen collection, processing, and waived testing. This position requires excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. **Schedule** - A 40-hour work week. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00 pm **Location:** 33758 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399 **Primary Responsibilities:** + Obtain blood specimens by skin puncture, venipuncture in patient populations ranging from newborn, pediatric to adult and geriatric + Follow all laboratory procedures and protocols + Accurately enter patient information and tests into the computer and accurately label specimens after the patient are drawn but before patient leaves + Deliver specimens to analytical areas + Work as a team member within the laboratory department. Communicate professionally with patients, providers and co-workers + Perform other related duties as assigned + Adhere to the Phlebotomy Clinical Laboratory Standards + When needed, ability to work at other locations **What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
