Senior Accountant

Summary: This position monitors and maintains financial activities and provides financial reporting support for the department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Update the monthly rolling P & L forecastAnalyze cost and sales of HardwarePrepare monthly GL accounts reconciliation and analysis.Prepare monthly financial reporting packagePrepare ASE monthly review reportsPrepare internal operations review reportsPrepare and analyze sales reports, cost models, and tester OEE.Coordinate the annual budgeting process. Interact and assist the department managers in the preparation of the budgetCoordinate in quarterly and yearly auditCheck monthly Sales & Use Tax fileFixed Assets controlReconcile the property register to the FA master file. Review and file the annual property tax returnPrepare year end tax provision calculationPrepare government report quarterly & annuallySpecial projects as assignedEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingMinimum of 7+ years experience in AccountingCPA is a preferredKnowledge, Abilities and Skills:Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers.Computer Skills:MS Great Plains and Business Central preferredMicrosoft Office Suite, advanced excel skills preferredMS FRx Reporting Tool preferredOther Skills and AbilitiesAbility to handle multiple detailed oriented tasksStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong communication skillsChinese speaking preferredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
