Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.What will you contribute ?As part of Finastra’s AI COE, we are seeking for an Engineering Lead to oversee engineering team s and to successfully embed AI capabilities into customer service productsResponsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as an Engineering Lead will include, but are not limited to, the following:Hire, l ead and manage a cross-functional engineering team including front-end, back-end, and DevOps specialistsPartner closely with the Customer Service Product Owner to translate product vision and requirements into technical solutionsO versee design, development, and deployment of a customer facing front end application that uses AI features from established platforms.Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks for the de velopment teamEnsure technical excellence across all aspects of development including code quality, testing, and documentationManage sprint execution, technical planning, and resource allocation across the engineering teamFoster collaboration and knowledge sharing across front-end, back-end, AI, and DevOps disciplinesRemove technical blockers and resolve dependencies that impact team productivity and deliveryMonitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing improvements as neededMentor and develop engineering talent, providing technical guidance and career development serviceEnsure engineering solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirementsCollaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to leverage shared platforms and servicesDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and team capabilitiesManage technical debt and balance feature delivery with platform stability and maintainabilityRequired Skills & Experience:Understanding of customer service and service domainsProven track record of delivering front end applicationsDeep understanding of full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and infrastructureExperience in delivering cloud native applicationsExpertise in modern software development methodologies including agile and lean practicesDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with product owners and translate requirements into technical solutionsExperience leading teams through the complete software development lifecycleStrong technical skills with hands-on experience in software architecture and designExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersTrack record of building high-performing, collaborative engineering teamsStrong problem-solving abilities with focus on pragmatic, scalable solutionsUnderstanding of software quality practices including testing, code reviews, and technical documentationWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
