• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric respiratory therapy, familiarity with advanced ventilatory equipment, and knowledge of pediatric-specific procedures.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients, perform invasive and non-invasive ventilatory procedures, conduct diagnostic tests such as chest x-rays, EKGs, and pulmonary function studies, and assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placements. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with physicians regarding treatment efficacy, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
