Travel Registered Nurse LTAC Job

Overview Registered Nurse (LTAC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This travel temporary assignment starts July 2, 2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $878 to $921 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift is day shift, 06:00–18:30 (12.5-hour shifts), three per week, in a long-term acute care setting within a skilled nursing environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients, including initial assessments and ongoing evaluation Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document responses Monitor vital signs, perform routine treatments, wound care, and IV therapies as ordered Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with standards of safety and infection control Educate patients and families, coordinate with case management for discharge planning, and participate in rounds and care conferences Requirements Active RN license to practice in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure Strong clinical skills in long-term acute care or skilled nursing settings Ability to perform duties on a 12.5-hour day shift (06:00–18:30) and manage complex patient needs Proficiency in nursing documentation and medication administration Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment in the Albuquerque area Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the rotation Fast credentialing and onboarding assistance Nationwide assignments available through the organization Extension opportunities based on performance and unit needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
