Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Greet and assist patients, assess needs, and recommend appropriate medical equipment
- Provide high-quality customer service in person and over the phone
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls and return messages promptly
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations
- Accurately complete patient intake, documentation, and sales orders
- Coordinate equipment setup and delivery with patients and team members
- Maintain knowledge of DME products, respiratory equipment, and insurance guidelines
- Operate point-of-sale system and support retail transactions
- Stock and maintain the retail floor
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and managing phone volume
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or respiratory product knowledge
- Experience in healthcare, medical office, or retail/customer-facing roles
