Paralegal - Medical Malpractice / Personal Injury Litigation

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Dallas-based law firm to identify an experienced Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice focused on Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Catastrophic Injury, and Complex Litigation matters.

Location: Dallas, TX (On-Site)
Compensation: $85,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation paralegal seeking to join a highly regarded trial practice. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The Paralegal will play a critical role in case management, discovery, trial preparation, and day-to-day litigation support while working closely with attorneys, clients, experts, medical providers, and court personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation support from case inception through trial and resolution
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, disclosures, and correspondence
• Maintain case calendars and track litigation deadlines
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
• Prepare pleadings, notices, and other legal documents for attorney review
• Review, organize, summarize, and index medical records and supporting documentation
• Maintain electronic and physical case files
• Coordinate with clients, experts, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness files, and trial notebooks
• Conduct factual investigations and gather supporting case information
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of litigation tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience
• Experience in Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice Defense, Catastrophic Injury, or Complex Litigation preferred
• Strong experience preparing and responding to discovery
• Proven calendaring and case management experience
• Ability to draft routine pleadings and legal correspondence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Trial preparation experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
• Paralegal Certificate, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• Must successfully complete a background check and skills assessment
