Batch OperatorThe Batch Operator works on the production floor to safely mix, fill, and prepare batches of paint products for shipment. This role involves accurately weighing materials, operating mixing and filling equipment, handling heavy drums, and ensuring all batches meet quality and documentation standards.ResponsibilitiesFollowed batch instructions and specification sheets to accurately weigh, mix, and manufacture production batches.Filled containers and drums to required levels while monitoring processes to ensure quality and prevent errors or spills.Operated production equipment including mixers, pumps, mills, forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum-handling equipment.Moved, palletized, wrapped, and prepared drums weighing up to 500 lbs for shipment.Performed quality control procedures by submitting completed batches for testing, implementing adjustments, and maintaining accurate production paperwork.Maintained a safe work environment by cleaning equipment, handling hazardous materials properly, and adhering to ISO, safety, and manufacturing procedures.Essential SkillsPrevious machine operating and/or production experience.Ability to read and write in English to follow batch instructionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and to manually move and roll heavy drumsExperience with batch mixing, blending, or operating mixers and related production equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
