We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity at Autumn Lake at Birch Manor. Work with residents to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs while collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary care team.
What You'll Do

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
• Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide skilled treatment for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Track resident progress and modify treatment approaches when appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with nursing and other rehabilitation disciplines

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply
