We're looking for an SLP to provide services at one of our wonderful private school partners in Eldersburg, MD , with the opportunity to add hours at our pediatric therapy center in Columbia, MD if desired. Position at a Glance Location: Private School in Eldersburg, MD Hours: 10-20 billable therapy hours per week Compensation: $50-$62 per billable hour, plus paid documentation time Clinical Fellows receive strong mentorship No IEPs to write Opportunity to add hours at our Columbia clinic 36-week academic calendar with an optional 4-week summer program About the School You'll work in a well-established K-12 private school that specializes in supporting students with Dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. While the school is recognized for its expertise in reading intervention, it embraces and supports students with a wide range of communication and learning needs. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, reading specialists, occupational therapists, and school administrators to help students succeed in their academic environment - without the burden of writing IEPs and attending IEP meetings. What Makes This Position Special No IEPs to write - spend more time treating and less time on paperwork. Individualized therapy is the priority. Group sessions are used only when clinically appropriate, such as social communication groups. Small, manageable caseloads that allow you to build meaningful relationships with your students. Collaborative team environment that includes SLPs, occupational therapists, reading specialists, educators, and supportive administrators. Team-oriented culture - we help one another with make-up sessions and coverage when a therapist is out. School schedule, plus an optional summer program. Opportunity to expand your caseload by seeing clients at our Columbia therapy center if desired. Job Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a K-12 private school setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success. Maintain documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes. Complete assessments as needed. Communicate with families to provide progress updates and support communication goals. Adjust therapy approaches as needed to meet each child's unique needs. Assist in creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters communication development. We proudly welcome Clinical Fellows (CFYs)! Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) CFY eligible or licensed SLP Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for working with children and their families Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Why The Children's SPOT?
