Coordinator-Research Compliance- Full time - Research Administration

Responsibilities Research compliance is centralized to Research Administration at the main campus. The Research Compliance Coordinator has administrative responsibility for our institutional research compliance committee(s). Ensure that Henry Ford Health research activities comply with federal, state, local, and HFMG regulations for the conduct of research involving animal and human studies. Ensure efficient committee operations, including writing meeting agendas, recording minutes, writing correspondence, maintaining quality data in the compliance database, and monitoring approval period lapses. Generate information reported to departments, committee(s), and HFMG leadership. Disseminate federal agency, state, local, and HFMG guidelines to the research community. Ensure appropriate training occurs for researchers and committee members as required by federal regulations. Develop and/or implement education modules, standard operating procedures, and policies for the research community. Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in compliance, health sciences, health-related field, or business. Master's degree preferred. Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, research, or compliance. Preferred Skills Knowledge of human subject protections programs, regulations, and experience working with the IRB. Knowledge of IRB process and procedures. Experience with IRB Manager software.
