Scope of work

Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.

• Create and update the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.

• Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.

• Make phone calls to employees for staffing needs.

• oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignment to the staffing secretary.

• Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.

• Assigns contingent/temp staff and outside personnel to units as needed.

• Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Staffing and scheduling experience preferred.

• Scheduling experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system

• A working knowledge of computer software such as ANSOS, Kronos Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

• Must be able to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
