Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available in an emergency and trauma setting in Roaring Spring, PA. We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage for various dates from August through December. Enjoy the collaborative environment with a supportive provider and nursing staff working in a Level 4 Trauma Center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
    • \n
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including APPs, RNs, and support staff
    • \n
  • Stabilize patients for transfer when necessary
    • \n
  • Participate in the improvement of emergency care processes and outcomes
    • \n
\n

Qualifications

    \n
  • Active PA license required
    • \n
  • Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
    • \n
  • Preferred clean malpractice history/NPDB
    • \n
\n

Working Hours

\n
    \n
  • Scheduled shifts vary between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
    • \n
  • Flexible availability to cover listed dates
    • \n
\n

Skills

  • Proficiency in emergency medicine procedures and protocols
    • \n
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members
    • \n
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
    • \n
  • Experience with diverse age groups and medical conditions in an emergency setting
