Growing together.Responsible for the daily operations, personnel and revenue tracking of assigned clinics as established by departmental guidelines. Ensures continuity and quality of care for all services provided within the assigned clinics. Responsible for all of the daily administrative functions associated with a multi-provider medical practice. This includes scheduling of all required staff levels within the clinics including the hiring, training, counseling and performance management of administrative staff. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety; develops and revises department policies, procedures, and protocols. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership demonstrating the ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, counsel and develop staff to work toward their highest level of function, in accordance with job descriptions and competencies. Delegates staff effectively; demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, direct, control, monitor and evaluate services, while using the available resources appropriatelyResponsible for the daily monitoring of charge capture patient encounters, co-payment collections, accounts receivable, denials, and credit/refunds. Develops reporting mechanisms to provide accurate updates to clinic team on process improvements regarding revenue related activitiesWorks closely with Director to ensure sound fiscal and business performance within assigned clinics, and implements any necessary changes/modifications as directed by DirectorAccountable for managing staff schedules, including physicians, daily to ensure optimum scheduling and coverage of assigned clinics. This includes monitoring staff and physician requests for time off to ensure proper coverage at all timesEnsures staff and leadership training and development programs are implemented, monitored and enforced in compliance with organizational initiatives and regulatory requirements. Develop opportunities for personal and professional goal achievement for self and assigned staffWorks closely as part of the leadership team to align processes and clinic outcomes with market strategic planPerforms other duties as assignedCompetenciesPatient Relations: Meets patient and patient family needs; takes responsibility for a patient's safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes; uses appropriate interpersonal techniques to resolve difficult patient situations and regain patient confidenceDeveloping Others: Plans and supports the development of individuals' skills and abilities so that they can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities more effectivelyLeadership Disposition: Demonstrates the traits, inclinations, and dispositions that characterize successful leaders; exhibits behavior styles that meet the demands of the leader rolePlanning and Organizing: Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficientlyYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications2+ years of related experience, 1+ year of which being in a supervisory capacityKnowledge of professional billing and various healthcare requirements including, but not limited to, access, coding, billing, collections, practice management systems, payer relations, appeals, and authorization processPreferred QualificationsManaged Care experience (Quality, HEDIS, Affordability)Related experience in technical or specialty areasAbility to communicate effectively; ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projectsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
