5th Grade (Bilingual)Reading/Language Arts Teacher Location: Richardson, TX 75240
School District: Richardson ISD
Position Type: Full-Time Contract | School Year
We are seeking a dedicated 5th Grade Reading/Language Arts Teacher to join a Richardson ISD campus for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will provide engaging literacy instruction and help students strengthen their reading, writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging 5th grade Reading/Language Arts instruction aligned with Texas academic standards.
Develop lesson plans, instructional activities, and assessments that support student learning.
Teach reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and language skills.
Differentiate instruction to meet a range of student abilities and learning needs.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on student performance.
Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families regarding student progress.
Maintain accurate student records and instructional documentation.
Participate in campus meetings, professional development, and other school activities as required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Appropriate Texas teaching certification for the assigned grade/subject.
Experience teaching Reading/Language Arts preferred.
Strong classroom management, communication, and instructional skills.
