Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia state PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Minimum 6 months of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write functional goals, and prepare letters of medical necessity as indicated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting treating orthopedic and post-surgical populations.
• Experience participating in student supervision or academic precepting.
• Demonstrated participation in professional development and continuing education.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Weekly schedule: Monday 6:30 AM–12:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Wednesday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Start: ASAP.
• Candidate may be expected to follow clinic policies for appearance, attendance, and safety protocols.
