General Duty Assistant (GDA) Orchard Elementary

Time and Pay: 2 hours/day; $15.00/hour

Description of Duties: Assist in the control and care of students in classrooms, halls, lunchrooms, and playground

Example of Duties: Monitor students behavior in halls, lunchrooms and playground; performs all necessary duties to aide children needing critical care; assists children eating lunch and performing necessary clean-up tasks. Performs related work requested or as required by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge: Basic practices in effective discipline and safety awareness
Skills: Adherence to schedules
Experience: Success in working with groups of children
