This position provides the chance to work both onsite and virtually, balancing professional engagement with personal flexibility. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to nurture young learners from PreK through second grade, while also making a difference for a handful of middle school students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- CTC (California Teaching Credential) required
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Holding or eligible for CCC-SLP certification encouraged
- Previous school-based or teletherapy SLP experience is a plus
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing treatment for diverse speech and language disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, focusing primarily on PreK–2nd grade, with a few middle schoolers
- Provide direct services both in-person (two days a week) and remotely (two days a week)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress regularly
- Work partnership with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student goals
This part-time role offers a schedule of 23–24 hours per week, running from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with five holiday weeks scheduled during the school year.
