Role Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Tech position supports the Senior Facilities Manager & Community Directors at our Kiln Meridian & Downtown Boise Locations in executing the upkeep and general maintenance of the facility, coordinate with vendors when needed, aids staff by repairing reported issues, installing, and moving furniture, maintaining appliances, and assisting our team to ensure a pleasing atmosphere for the coworking community. Our Meridian Location is located at 1120 S Rackham Way and our Downtown Boise Location is on N 4th and W Idaho. This role will work 40 hours per week. We strive to maintain scheduling flexibility, while ensuring that the majority of each shift (approximately 75%) overlaps with standard business hours to support collaboration with the community team.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Patching and painting drywall
2. Paint touch-ups
3. Fixing furniture
4. Fixing or installing appliances
5. Moving office panels
6. Moving office desks
7. Hanging art
8. Fixing Door Locks
9. Moving furniture
10. Scheduled Preventative Maintenance ie. HVAC Filters, water filters
11. Maintain inventory of stored items
12. Schedule and manage temp staff, contractors, and vendors
13. Manage relationships and negotiate preferred pricing/bids
14. Coordinate approved capital projects as directed by the Community Director/Build and Procurement Team
15. Ensure compliance with all warranties and state/federal requirements

Ideal Experience and Skills:

• Finish Carpentry or Painting experience is preferred
• Handy Man Experience is preferred.
• Reliable Consistent Transportation is a Must.
  • Mileage Reimbursement provided for commuting between the two locations.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
