We’re looking for an experienced, motivated LINE COOK to join our team at Cucina 38.

We are a small but mighty neighborhood Italian eatery serving Northern Italian food. Everything is made from scratch with a lot of love for the product and care for the neighborhood and community we serve.

Who You Are:

• Previous experience as strong Line Cook ready for the next step
• Passion for Italian cuisine and fresh, quality ingredients and consistency
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of urgency
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Knowledgeable about proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety
• Willing to learn, take direction, and contribute to the success of the team

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and execute high-quality Italian dishes with consistency and attention to detail according to Cucina 38 recipes, standards, and specifications
• Maintain consistency, quality, and proper presentation throughout service
• Work efficiently and accurately during high-volume services
• Complete prep work and ensure all stations are properly stocked and ready for service
• Communicate effectively with chefs and other members of the kitchen team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen responsibilities
• Support other stations and kitchen team members as needed
• Assist with inventory, ordering, scheduling, and minimizing food waste
• Help develop seasonal specials and contribute creative menu ideas
• Help maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen environment
