About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Description: EOW and EOH requirements apply. Must have 2 years of experience in PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care. The traveler will be assigned to a unit based on the greatest need, whether it is a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. Candidates will be accepted for both M/S and Step Down roles as the credentialing process is the same for both. Successful completion of the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment is required. Travel experience is preferred. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system is necessary. Flexibility to float onsite within skill set or to locations within a 40-mile radius may be required.
