Bishop & Company is seeking a Billing / Accounts Receivable Associate (Associate III / Senior Associate)
Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite)
Pay Rate : $18.00- $20.00/hour DOE  Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (½?hour unpaid lunch)
• Schedule may vary

Assignment Duration

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing until position is filled

Work Environment

• Attire: Casual / Business Casual
• Parking: Not provided; public parking available at Blaisdell Center ($8/day)

Position Overview
This position supports billing and receivables operations, serving as a key contact for customers and business partners regarding billing inquiries, policy issues, and account resolution. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage high volumes in a deadline?driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain direct bill receivables and follow up with business associates on open balances
• Research and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Identify, research, and resolve policy and billing issues
• Analyze and interpret accounting journals, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and process journal entries
• Perform SOX compliance ?related duties
• Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by Supervisor(s)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 35 WPM typing speed
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Professional customer service skills, including telephone etiquette and empathetic communication
• Strong analytical, problem?solving, and critical?thinking abilities
• Ability to manage high workloads in a fast?paced, multi?task environment
• Adaptable to changing priorities
• Performs well under tight deadlines
• Team player with strong work ethic

Experience Requirements
Associate III:

• High school diploma
• 2 years of general office experience

Senior Associate:

• 2?year college degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of general office experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounts receivable, collections, and/or insurance experience
• Guidewire Billing Center experience
