Nurse Aide Job Title: Nurse Aide Profession: CNA Specialty: Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, Sunday - Saturday, on call as needed Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience License: Alaska RN license Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: BSN preferred Description: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the nursing process and principles of primary nursing. Care is provided in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice. Skilled in the use of a PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and appropriate clinical databases. Required skills include at least 1 year of Long-Term Care experience. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 18 during days and 1 to 25 during nights. The dress code for this position is scrubs. The charting system utilized is EPIC. No floating is required in this role. General and Planetree orientation are mandatory for all new hires. Candidates must possess current BLS certification and have received a COVID vaccine.
