Maintenance Custodian Associate

Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Position Summary As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You will be on your feet most of the shift and maintain a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities You thrive in fast‑paced environments. You take pride in your work and maintain member satisfaction as your top priority. You are comfortable with change and can quickly adapt to different work scenarios. You can work an entire shift on your feet and in physically demanding environments. Ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary. Responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with company environmental sustainability program. Maintaining appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies. Following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and handling of hazardous materials. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical ability to work on your feet for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a maintenance or custodial role. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Benefits Health benefits including medical, vision and dental coverage.
