Custodian I, II, III

Cutler’s Janitorial LLC is recruiting for Custodian(s) who perform a variety of custodial duties at various locations. Duties include: Dust/damp mop using germicidal techniques Sweep and keep facility entranceways, rooms, common areas, and restrooms free from debris and trash Remove trash and dispose of waste materials Vacuum and spot clean carpets Operate a variety of industrial cleaning machines Restock and clean restrooms using germicide solution Wipe down and disinfect areas Maintain custodial supplies in assigned storage areas Ensure health and safety rules are adhered to at all times Background Job offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background investigation which includes fingerprinting and verification of employment history. Qualifications Must be able to work at various locations within Hampton Roads when needed. Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety. Ability to operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position. Ability to use custodial systems such as those used to track work orders and two-way radios for communication. Ability to perform work involving regular physical activity, observe safety requirements, and adhere to safe work practices and methods. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships. Experience: Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies, is required. Please note, several of Cutler Janitorial customers require staff who are accessing facilities to be immunized against COVID-19. Proof of full vaccination will be required prior to start date.
