We also deliver research-informed direct services to financially vulnerable Oklahomans, with a focus on strengthening families and improving employment opportunities.We are a collaborative team of thinkers, creatives, strategists, communicators, builders, researchers, and change agents committed to touching lives, driving change, and doing good well.Position SummaryThe Bilingual Host plays a role in the success of participants and families by providing support for the Family Expectations (FE) and TRUE Dads programs through hospitality and customer service, serving meals and snacks before and during workshops, assisting with general cleaning and organization, and participating as a Communication Coach with participants during communication skills practice sessions.This is a part-time position, with services delivered during evening hours and on weekends, with additional training and preparation required on an as needed basis.Essential Job FunctionsGreet couples, and serve as a friendly face for program participantsParticipate in Communication Coaching sessions and ensure couples are building competency in the skills taught in the curriculum through good coachingInteract and engage with couples before class and during breaksHelp serve meals, snacks, and beveragesClean the workshop areas, dining area, and kitchenEnsure all equipment and utensils are put awayRestock and inventory refreshments and suppliesAttend the classes to assist Educators, as neededReport any discrepancies to the Education Services Specialist and Workshop Content and Facilitation ManagerOther duties as assignedEducation/TrainingHigh School diploma or equivalent, preferredExperiencePrior experience providing skills coaching a plusPrior experience working in customer service or hospitality a plusSkills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesMust be fluent in spoken/written English and SpanishAbility to work evenings and SaturdaysPublic Strategies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
