Director Of Technical Accounting Manager

Director of Technical Accounting We are seeking a Director of Technical Accounting to lead our global technical accounting strategy and reporting framework. The role involves managing global consolidations, external/debt reporting, coordinating with auditors, setting accounting policies under US GAAP/IFRS, and driving process improvements across accounting functions. Responsibilities Own the global technical accounting strategy and reporting framework. Lead global consolidations and external/debt reporting. Partner closely with auditors and manage the audit process. Set accounting policies and guidance across US GAAP and IFRS. Drive process improvements and standardization across accounting functions. Oversee GL, fixed assets, intercompany, and lease accounting across global entities in Canada, Europe, and Asia. Manage and develop two Accounting Managers and oversee a team of approximately 6–8 indirect reports. Essential Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. 10+ years of combined public and industry accounting experience. 3–5+ years of management experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance. Experience in large ($800M–$1B+) or global organizations. Experience with external debt reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing industry. Exposure to SAP/ERP implementation. Experience in process improvement and transformation. Location & Employment Permanent position based in Lakewood, CO. Requires onsite work five days a week. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $120,000.00 - $201,500.00 per year. 90% employee‑covered health insurance. 7.5% possible employee incentive program. 6% 401(k) match with no vesting period. $300 wellness stipend for activities such as a ski pass, sports equipment, or gym memberships.
