Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Level III Emergency Department, utilizing comprehensive clinical skills and clinical judgment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to patients from infancy through geriatrics in a fast-paced ER environment.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, drips, and ventilator management while adhering to protocols and standards of care.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Respond rapidly to urgent and emergent situations, demonstrating adaptability and stress management.
  
  
• 
  Participate in ongoing training and ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policy requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess at least 2 years of current ER experience; 3+ years preferred.
  
  
• 
  Hold a valid New Hampshire or compact RN license, with proof uploaded to profile.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS active through AHA or ARC.
  
  
• 
  Have prior travel experience (minimum 3 months) preferred.
  
  
• 
  Own reliable transportation and provide a permanent address for documentation purposes.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work flexible shifts, including holidays, with availability for scheduled blocks.
