We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Stocksdale, NC area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians’ work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations and maintain team safety. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers deliver timely high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information, and strive to meet expectations. For the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager position: 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform duties and responsibilities of the position.
