School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Southaven, Mississippi

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in Mississippi (or eligibility for immediate reciprocity)
• Previous experience as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple patients and adapt quickly to evolving circumstances
• Passion for promoting student well-being and education

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care, respond to medical emergencies, and manage chronic conditions for students and staff
• Maintain comprehensive health records in accordance with privacy laws and school guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments, following physician instructions and school protocols
• Conduct health screenings, monitor communicable diseases, and support prevention initiatives
• Serve as a health advocate, offering education and guidance to students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop plans for students with complex health needs
