Sr. Product Manager, Platform

Role Description
As a Product Manager for Platform, you will own the foundation of Tenstorrent's developer experience: firmware, system software, packaging, and updates. Today, getting started with Tenstorrent hardware means navigating multiple repositories, docs pages, and shell scripts. Your job is to turn that into one product developers install once and trust forever. You’ll build in the open, partnering with our open source community to continually raise the bar on developer experience. You’ll own the unified Tenstorrent CLI: a single entry point to our entire software stack. One command, every device, every workflow, from bare-metal bring-up to production model serving.
This role is remote and based in North America, with hubs in Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; and Toronto, ON. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in understanding code and repositories related to firmware, drivers, and runtimes.
- Ability to define high-level objectives and direction for highly technical products.
- Strong bias for action and creative problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
- Developer-focused mindset, ensuring outputs allow developers to reach real work quickly.
- Strong opinions on installers, updates, versioning, and error messages.
Requirements
- Wrangle firmware, system software, packaging, and updates into a coherent platform.
- Ownership of the unified Tenstorrent CLI from definition to launch.
- Define crisp priorities and clear direction for engineering teams.
- Establish success metrics like developer NPS and CLI adoption.
- Act as a partner for engineering, DevRel, and customer teams.
