Commercial Landscaping Crew LeaderUnited Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee daily landscaping and ground maintenance projects throughout the Morgantown area. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can effectively manage a crew, operate landscaping equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the client's standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise landscaping crews at commercial job sites.Assign daily responsibilities and monitor crew productivity.Perform mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, cleanup, and general grounds maintenance.Safely operate landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid steers, and other machinery.Train employees on proper work techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.Ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.Maintain professional communication with customers, supervisors, and crew members.Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.Track employee hours, job progress, materials, and completed work.Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials.Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and assist with physical labor as needed.Pay and Schedule$17.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experienceMonday–Friday7:00 AM–5:00 PMOvertime may be available depending on workload and weatherQualificationsPrevious commercial landscaping or grounds-maintenance experience required.Prior crew-lead, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of landscaping equipment, maintenance practices, and job-site safety.Ability to lead employees, provide clear direction, and address performance concerns.Valid driver's license required.Must be comfortable driving a truck with a trailer.Skid steer, Bobcat, or small dump-truck experience is a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.Dependable transportation and consistent attendance required.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceWeekly payOvertime potentialMedical benefits availableUnlimited referral bonus programLong-term employment potentialOpportunity to develop additional landscaping and equipment skills
