In this role, you will direct a technical team and ensure all testing is conducted in compliance with customer, industry, and military specifications — with accountability for lab readiness, documentation quality, scheduling, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a technically grounded supervisor ready to drive results in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate RF coaxial connector qualification and validation testing in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards, and applicable military specificationsManage daily laboratory operations including work scheduling, staffing, equipment readiness, and materials procurement to meet testing and reporting commitmentsHire, onboard, train, and develop laboratory personnel; provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective guidance as neededOversee test planning, data documentation, and formal qualification report preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality system requirementsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions; coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and interfacing with external laboratories and service providersRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience6+ years of relevant technical experience in laboratory, engineering, manufacturing, quality, or testing environmentsDemonstrated experience leading technical work, projects, or laboratory activitiesWorking knowledge of applicable military standards and specifications, including MIL-PRF-39012 and MIL-PRF-31031Ability to read, interpret, and apply Source Control Drawings (SCDs), technical documentation, and test requirementsKnowledge of RF coaxial transmission principles and passive component test methodsExperience developing and executing mechanical, electrical, and environmental test plansProficiency with standard business systems and documentation toolsDesired QualificationsPrevious supervisory or people leadership experience in a technical or laboratory environmentFamiliarity with electrical, mechanical, and environmental test equipment associated with MIL-PRF-39012 and MIL-PRF-31031Experience in employee training, mentoring, and development within a technical team settingThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $111,917.00 - $153,886.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
